Ed "Tex" Connor
This is Ed "Tex Connor" on the beach in Kuwait in 2005. This was sent in by his daughter Amy, with her permission to add this to the website. I personally remember watching Ed dance on the show in the late 1950s. I particularly remember him dancing with Justine Carrelli and Janet Hamill, but he danced with many of the popular Regulars on the show. He has had an interesting career post American Bandstand. This is an exclusive picture to my website--added here June 25, 2011. Right below is a B&W picture of Ed "Tex" Connor in his American Bandstand days--pictured with Regular Janet Hamill. I will look for some additional pictures of Ed and add to the website and hopefully send to his daughter Amy as well.

Barbara Marcen
picture added to AB Gallery #2 on 4/21/2011 & shows a very young Barbara Marcen who is one of the Regulars who made the transition from the Bob Horn Bandstand days to National American Bandstand in August 1957.I have heard that in 2011 she broke a hip and was hospitalized. Well wishes go out to her.

(UPDATE: spelling of Joanne's name was taken from one of her nieces who wrote me on 6/1/2011). Sometimes the vintage publications showed spellings and styles in more than one way, so it's always nice when a family member updates the information for the website.
