DICK CLARK SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE COVER 1959

Wonderful SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE. In the years we were rushing home to watch Bandstand, many of the girls were rushing out to newstands each month to buy the latest SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE, TEEN MAGAZINE, 16 MAGAZINE, SONG HITS MAGAZINE, AND HIT PARADER MAGAZINE. These magazines gave us more information on our favorite show and they soon disappeared off the newstands. This particular 1959 issue of SEVENTEEN Magazine has Dick Clark on the cover and some neat articles within--pages from Dick Clark's scrapbook and an article on Dick speaking with the teenagers of the day.

Catch that great skirt that the lovely model is wearing. All us girls wanted one of those high top skirts after watching Arlene Sullivan wear them on Bandstand. Much of the fashion dictates of the late 50s came right off the Bandstand show. If they had it, we wanted it!

THIS ISSUE IS NOT FOR SALE AT THIS TIME.
