pics from AB Regular Richard Haubois

pic premiers at site 9/18/2007. In the bottom right corner is Richard and his wife Kathy out on the town in Houston in 2007. Kathy is a retired flight attendant. Richard moved to Texas in 1969 and worked for the Union at the newspaper. He said he was a carpenter by trade before moving to Texas and with the housing boom there, it wasn't long before he started back in construction industry & became a Genral Contractor for both residential and commercial. He said he got a little lucky and they were able to purchase a cattle ranch. Sounds like Richard is enjoying a well deserved life and we wish him and Kathy more success and happiness. We thank him for the pictures.

Joe Coward is to the left of the color picture of Kathy and Richard. Richard wrote about Joe: "My neighbor Joe Coward, who lived four blocks away from me in Camden, JN. His dad always called him Sonny. His mom had passed away, and it was just the two of themliving right next to the chicken slaughter house. I would stop by his house, chickens would escape and we would catch them. Lots of fun...those were the days. So I guess you know what we had for dinner when we would eat at Joe's house. He danced with Doris Olson in the Pony Contest, and I don't believe they were that romantically involved because no one on the show was permanently involved. We all just hung out together."
