Diana Benero with Madame Alexander

This picture premiers at the site on 5/20/09 and shows famous dollmaker Madame Alexander on the left, a friend of Diana's in the center, and American Bandstand Regular Diana Benero on the right. This was taken at a special invitation only anniversary celebration that was held for M. Alexander at the Disneyland Hotel in the early 1980s. Diana and her friend Jean sold collectible vintage dolls--mostly Alexander dolls that dated from the 30s to the 60s (but mostly the 50s) and this was done through doll shows, auctions, trade magazines, and mailing lists sent out to their customers. Diana said of Ms. Alexander, "She was a gracious lady and such an inspiration because she was a great talented business person too."
