Billy Young With Maxine Bayuk 1959

This picture was faint to start with so the faces could not be made more clear--sorry. The picture clearly shows, however, the styles of the time--the oversize handbags showing up repeatedly throughout these pictures. It was very popular and carried by almost all the gals. The guys had to be careful not to make the girls mad because to be hit with one of those bags was probably scarier than being hit with a rolling pin. Never having been to the Bandstand Studio, I am wondering if this is the parking lot for the show? or somewhere else in Philly.
