Don Cione was one of the most handsome of all the American Bandstand Regulars. There are many pictures of him on Gallery Page 2 and these were all provided by Eleanor. Below are some comments that Eleanor made in 2005 when at the time of his March birthdate.

"Don was the definition of handsome, a superb dancer, and a friendly, likeable, human being. I can still visualize him dancing with Carole Scaldeferri, his most frequent dance partner. They made a striking dance couple. Sadly, Don died in 1987, much too soon, as did so many Regulars. A great loss. - Eleanor Ligman

Even strolling on a beach, he was dressed to perfection. Wishing he was still here strolling . . . doing the stroll . . . Perhaps he's sailing on the clouds above us dancing the night away." - Eleanor Ligman

Eleanor Ligman (friend of the site and message board member) was President of Con Cione's fan club when she was a teenager. This page from the May 1962 "16 Magazine" shows her little write-up to the magazine about Don's fan club.
