In Memory of Mr. Ed Yates

This picture is of the flowers and card that Dick & Kari Clark sent the Yates Family in 2006 after the passing of Mr. Ed Yates, who Directed American Bandstand 1953 - 1964. This picture was sent to the site by George Yates who is the Yates family historian.

Earlier that day, Dick Clark said on the phone: "Ed was an extraordinary director. He managed to grab every exciting moment on American Bandstand. The pictures he created influenced a whole generation of young people across America."
