Hello Jimmy, Thank you for the info...I only wish that, like yourself, that the other Regulars find Marsha's website and join us here to share those great years on AB. Do you know anything about Barbara Levick? I know everyone would love to hear from her. Stay well and have a good weekend.

Jimmmy...I heard from Kathy McColgan's daughter several years back and Kathy was doing well. Her husband had died (a well known hockey player) and she was adjusting. I sent her something AB that the daughter felt her mother would enjoy at Christmas and I understand she did enjoy it, but she is very quiet about her Bandstand days. I believe her daughter said she has a brother so Kathy has had 2 children and lived a very happy life and a quiet one, preferring to let her hubby be in the limelight in the sports world. The daughter said that she would tell her mother about the site and show her the pictures but that she doubted her mother would ever come forward because she is shy about her Bandstand days. I am sure I saved enough contact info that I could write the daughter (who is also a very private person) and ask again how her mother is doing. Kathy was one of the Regulars I followed a lot back in the days I was watching and she was in that orange 57/58 Bandstand Yearbook that I sent off for when I was a teen.

Hi Marsha ther are some regulars who prefer not to go back in time for whatever reasons, but knowing them some are shy and very private. I'm happy to hear that Kathy is doing fine and as far as Barbara Levick is concerned, the last I heard , she is in California and Frani Giordano is in the sububs of Philly and a Gandmother of 6 from her beautiful daughter Cheryl whom I have the pleasure of seeing on a number of occasions. Frani prefers not to participate in bandstand memories for her own private and personal reasons but I can assure you she was and is fine as of recently. Lennny Natale's daughter and Frani's daughter are sister-in-laws and of course Lenny is one of my friends since 1957. looking forward to posting with everyone.

Thanks Jimmy..I guess they have their reasons and like it or not we all have to accept that. That is so cool about the two daughters being sister-in-laws. It's nice that you have remained friends with a lot of the Regulars....you guys have a ton of memories.

Hi Pat...yes we do have loads of memories which I will be sharing with you. unfortunately as I had said before, all of the photos and memorabilia i had for over 50 yrs was taken from me without my consent, so i will have to relay my great memories by telling you everything I know including how I came to be on bandstand coming from north jersey in oct 57.It's a great story that actually started on Aug 5 1957 at 3pm. I will tell it as soon as imake it as short as possible. the reason being it has so much to it, that i want to make sure that i don't leave out anything while still condensing the story. you will love it i promise.

Hi Nina...I'm preparing a disc of my daughters wedding in 2005 with photos of guests Joe Fusco, 'Big Roe'Rosalie Beltrante, Arleen Sullivan, Len Natale, Larry Brumbach,Barbara Marcen,Joan Krewson,Terry Scheffler,Frankie and many more. I think you will enjoy seeing them and I will,as,soon as I get them together, photos of my show business and broadway clients at events I did for them. people such as Phillip Bosco, Swoozie Kurtz,Rosemary Harris,Helen Hunt, the cast of twelve angry men,12th night, and many more including fashion giant Helmut Lang who is now putting out a perfume line. I could'nt possibly put them out all at once but believe me you and everyone else will see as much as i have. I have a trusting relationship with these and other clients and I always ask their ok to discuss them. I'm sure all understand. when my gourmet cooking classes are posted on the Kings Supermarket website in May,I will let you know so you can see me and what my classes are about. my territory is all of NJ,NY,PHILLY,CONN. I have a staff and I cook everything on premise fresh, sort of having your own personal chef with guests watching and enjoying.

Jimmy, what a great concept of memories gone by you're preparing to share with us...Wow! One of my sons’ is Directory of Network Operations for Fox, about 12 years ago he took me to a function and Helen Hunt was among the celebrity guests, well needless to say, she was the only one I truly wanted to meet. My son made it possible for me to greet her and get an autograph, that was a great moment being that I had seen the movie ‘As Good As It Gets’ with her and Jack Nicholson, loved her in that role she played…what a movie loved loved it, one of my favorite movies of all...I have a Helmut Lang jersey cardigan. Gourmet cooking gotta love that! Do you or have ever come out to the West Coast to cook for special functions? You must be busy man, congratulations for all your success and may you continue to prosper...can't wait to see your gourmet cooking classes on the web...many blessing your way.

Hi Nina...Fox is my favorite. I've had the pleasure of meeting several Fox newscasters including Geraldo Rivera at his home. another chef and myself were negotiating his wedding, but unfortunately he was off to Afghanistan which necessitated a schedule conflict, so we could not do it. I first met Helen Hunt when she attended a cast party for her broadway show "The Twelfth Night' which was given at the home of her co-star Phillip Bosco in NJ. Phillip was at an event I did For his Daughter Lisa and asked me to do the cast party for the show at his home. It was on a sunday right after the 3pm matinee and about 6pm the first person to come in the large house was Helen. she immediately came up to me and introduced herself and said Hi I'm Helen(as if I did'nt know) She introduced me to her then fiancee Hank Azaria, follwed by Paul Rudd, Kyra Sedgewick and the rest of the cast. Helen was a complete angel, loving my food, holding conversations with me and after I served the dessert, she wanted me to sit down with her and the cast and It seemed we all knew each other for ages. they all gave me a standing ovation.which was very touching. I in turn toasted them and recieved one in return from my friend Phillip and Nancy Bosco. from that point on,I did all of Phil's broadway shows which is how my name spread with the entertainment world. one of my favorite people is Swoozie Kurtz. I also met her from Phil's cast party of 'Heartbreak House'and when Nancy brought her to meet me, I was very flattered when she said ' will you marry me'. I replied, wait until you taste my food and see if you feel the same. she did and said 'now you have to marry me' of course we joked all night long and she could'nt have been sweeter. when the cast left sometime after midnight they all came up to me to express their their thanks and best wishes and they also passed my name around to their friends. from that i got more and more events including events in Tribeca, but thats another story. I will have many more true stories to share with all.....talk to you soon.

Several years ago when I was looking around on the internet about Barbara Levick, someone said she considered the show part of her past. Another thing mentioned was that she had dated Dick Clark's brother at one time. I don't know if it was true or why it was mentioned as they didn't say anything else about it.

soonerokie...That has to be a definite rumor with regard to Barbara Levick dating Dick Clark's brother, as that would be an impossibility. Years ago I read in the magazines that Dick's only sibling (brother) died in World War II so it's impossible his brother (Bradley) was dating anyone on American Bandstand. Bradley was older than Dick Clark. You can double-check that information on the WEB, and Wikipedia would be a good place to start.
As to Barbara's reluctance to have anything to do with American Bandstand, I can't say that for sure, but I have heard the same as you. There are some Regulars who have been reluctant to come forward and I can completely understand the various possible reasons why a Regular might not want to be public on the worldwide WEB. Most of us who didn't have the public attention in our past are still very much aware how careful we must be when on the Internet.
