My memories of Pat are many and I'll start this posting for everyone's memories of Pat on the show. As we know, Pat is one of the Regulars who has passed away, but these new bio (biography) postings done individually will be for our memories on all the Regulars whether they are gone or still with us.
Since Pat was one of my favorites, I remember well watching her do the jitterbug. She could dance faster than just about anyone I ever saw and she had that individual style of the bounce while she danced. I remember her most dancing with Lou Solino during the years I watched, but I also recall her with Kenny Rossi, Bill Ettinger, Billy Cook, Nick Gaeta, Walt Grzelack and others.
I remember her wearing many plaid straight skirts and shirtwaist dresses. In my memories, Pat's hair was always short and curly. I never remember her any other way. Her eyes had a twinkle of merriment to them and it was so obvious that her entire being projected her love of dancing and being there on American Bandstand.
I remember her as always slim.
I have a difficult time remembering her voice, though she was interviewed a number of times.
.....hope you'll all share your memories of Pat too and that way on all these Regulars, we will be able to refresh our collective memories by everyone's individual ones.

Vivacious, witty, fantastic dancer...I remember not being able to keep up with her dance steps, she was fast and precise...I loved to see her dance with Billy Cook, they both owned the floor...her passion for dance emitted through the TV screen...she was truly AWESOME!
I remember her fashion was simply stated...her hair always short, her contagious smile and those dreamy eyes...The memories are priceless.

Pat was my absolute favorite Regular. My most vivid memory is when she came back to AB after having her Appendix removed. Dick Clark asked her to lead off the next dance. I perked right up thinking now we'll finally get to see Pat do her great fast dance with no one else on the dance floor but her and her partner. The song was Heartbreak Hotel and I was so disappointed because it was so slow but then I realized that Dick Clark was taking it easy on her because of the surgery.
I'll never forget the lead off dance she danced to the song, Johnny B Goode...AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!! She definately made an impression and she really graced that dance floor with her unique style of dancing. I will never forget Pat Molittieri.

Does anyone remember Pat being in the background in a couple scenes in "Where The Boys Are.?" I spotted her at least twice. It was written up in one of the popular teen magazines at the time that she would be there, and she wasn't hard to find. I remember her fabulous dancing to "Topsy, part II." She would be on one foot and moving the other all over the floor in her T-strap shoes that were so popular back then. I had to have a pair as soon as they came to the stores where I lived.

Oh so do I! It really was Pat dancing at her unbeatable best. The footwork, the turns, the intricate moves...I can still picture it like it was yesterday. I bought that 45 because of her and I still have my original copy. Anytime I want to think of Pat and get a good workout I play Topsy Part 11. Glad someone else remembers this but I don't recall who she was dancing with. Rob

I only knew Pat briefly because I came to AB when Pat was leaving. However, she was always gracious and had a wonderful sense of humor. I had the pleasure of meeting her daughters in 2002 and am happy that they are keeping their mom's memory alive.

I just received the 12 issues of Teen magazine 1960 which I bought off of E-Bay. They are full of pictures and articles of the AB regulars, and Pat had a regular column in each one. What a lot of memories.
