STYLE & COLORS: This is the real thing--a bed jacket right out of the 1950s on the Charmode label by Sears Roebuck & Co. They are very hard to find. It's quilted of material that has the so fifties fabric art, mixing flowers and geometrics using pinks and mocha (also popular color combo in that decade--think Neopolitan Ice Cream colors!). Pink satin ribbon bow with streamers is at the neckline closure and there are two beautiful clear pink floral buttons that close the top. The sleeves are 3/4 style and have cuffs with pink clear button securing the cuff to the sleeve. Great contruction and pink satin piping around the neckline, sleeve ends, front closures, and hemline.
SIZE: No size label inside--only Charmode label, but I can clearly say this is a size SMALL and will fit both a size 4 today and size 6 today with busts of 33/34.
FABRIC is Cotton quilted.
CONDITION: For an item 50 years old, it's in wonderful vintage condition. It's seen very light wear and it's very clean as well as smoke-free and odor-free. It's so sweet and you'll love it.
