This is an amazing bed jacket by BARBIZON in one of their special FABRICs called "Dream Puff"--a gorgeous quilted fabric of Acetate & Rayon. The COLOR is a feminine petal pink and the special details are exquisite. You will find trailing vine satin stich emroidery down both sides of the opening around the collar edges, and around the sleeve edges. I believe the sleeve style is called dolman...very comfy. There's a slash-style pocket on one side with the type of quality seamstress work that is not often seen today. And you will just love the closure at the neckline which is two large buttons that are of wrapped tightly ribbon in almost an art deco look and the ribbon then extends downward on both sides from these large ribbon buttons with two streamer ties to each side of neckline opening. I don't think you could ask for more. The size is a stated L (large), but that's vintage sizing. I would not go past a Medium in today's sizes. My model is a 34 bust so this bed jacket will fit up through a size 36 bust. The sleeves measure 24 inches from just under the collar at shoulder to the sleeve's end. CONDITION: Excellent Plus. The lenth of jacket measures just over 20 inches. The fabric is very clean, smoke-free and odor-free. I find it incredible how well kept this bedjacket is. It could even date to the 1940s when you would often find the combination of Acetate & Rayon satin in the lingerie items. I think this looks as good as new so it may have just been tucked away nicely for many years. I understand that it belonged to the estate of a 99 year old lady. Please feel free to ask questions.
