Just wanted you to know that I was interviewed on line for an article on BED JACKETS which appeared in "AntiqueWeek, The Weekly Antique Auction & Collecting Newspaper" on September 14, 2009, in the Central Edition. Vintage 1950s VAN RAALTE MYTH BED JACKET

Van Raalte was such a respected name in vintage lingerie. You knew if their name was on it, the item would be exceptional. Their "Myth" line was particularly elegant and high end amongst the bed jackets of the day. This beautiful Myth bedjacket is fit for a princess. THe vintage double loop cloth label is within a side seam in the lower part of the garment The COLOR looks lighter due to camera flash and computer screens and it is difficult to get it just right so just think of a beautiful baby blue/sky blue with a shade some darker than shown.
SIZE is a label stated Small (busts of 32 through 34)
will fit today's size 4 and 6.

What I love about this lingerie piece are: the billowing sleeves ending in a band of ruffled sheer nylon, the floral lade adoring the yoke, the sheer bands of fabric at neckline and hem area and the sheer nylon ties at the neckline area.
