Offered here is a very beautiful 2 1/2 inch across brooch in a medium sapphire blue. The glass stones are not real sapphires--only the color. These glass stones are prong set into silvertone and sparkly blue rhinestones embellish the starbust pattern in the most lovely way. This brooch will certainly get attention and be loved. I cannot date it at all, as I do not know its history. It is an unsigned piece and I bought it at a small shop that deals in both vintage and contemporary items. CONDITION: excellent plus. I don't see any missing stones and it's just lovely. It will arrive to you in a small box but did not come in this box when I bought it...but it's a cute little similarly colored blue lidded box that I found for it.
