This belt was custom made for a family member in the 1980s. It was made by my stepdaughter who is a master seamstress and expert quilt maker. She made this belt of beautiful deep black ultra-suede but looks velvety and it closes with large Velcro closings that are so well put into the belt's construction. This belt would add glamour to any really pretty dress, especially evening or party dresses. The belt measures 37 inches from end to end. The black velcro inside for closure are both long strips so this means that the belt can be adjusted to various waist sizes but was made for a 29 inch waist. This belt was not worn by my mother-in-law. She kept it in a drawer and just enjoyed looking at it and knowing that it was made with love for her. I feel this is a one-of-a-kind belt since it was created by my stepdaughter. The only other one I know of is mine which is just like it, since she made two as Christmas gifts that year.
