What a find this compact was! It must have been tucked away and not used. It has a little felt slip-in case to help protect it. I believe Stratton brought this particular princess style compact out in the mid 1950s. It has a floral motif set against a white enamel brackground. The round design like a sand dollar is so beautiful, edged in faux gold with back that is faux gold. The compact is "Stratton" signed both front and back. This was made in England and is of superior quality. These compacts are sought after. The interior of the compact will hold powder and a puff with an interior ring-style lid and a most lovely mirror. I have kept it nice and just for display in my personal collection. The diameter is 3-1/4 inches. CONDITION: Excellent to near mint. As I said, it appears to have been tucked away and not used.
