I couldn’t believe my luck when I found this intact adorable and practical vintage set. I would date this to the 30s/40s timeline. It is a rare and unique little set which includes a cigarette case with petit point needlepoint on a black cloth with solid hard case below the fabric. The goldtone hinge is tight in its clasp. This has not been used. The interior is a unique material that appears to be a leather or a nice vinyl—not sure which. You could use this beautiful trim/slim case for business cards or drivers license when needing a compact case for evening bag. You will probably think of other uses too...but just looking at it has provided me all the pleasure I need. I would use it for the business cards since I don’t smoke. The entire set was made in West Germany. Having the matching lipstick case and little sewing repair kit case/tube is an added plus, as you don’t usually find any of these as a set. This is rare indeed. The little sewing tube has attached to it a keychain, so you have yet another use here for this ultra feminine set that the smart woman will love to carry for its beauty and practicality all in one. Within the sewing tube are 4 miniature spools of thread (colors: black, white, coral and pink) and a little brass cap pulls off and contains some needles and straight pins). You are sure to be noticed when you bring out these little pieces to use. I am sure you won’t find another lady anywhere near you who has the same! CONDITION: Excellent to near mint.
