rare vintage circle skirt

Gorgeous art on fabric is this Hilo Hattie tropical circle skirt--extremely full sweep with yards of abric. You'd practically have to put this on a rooftop to get the whole sweep in the picture! The fabric art depicts lush orchids and tropical exotic ferns in colors of azure green, fern green, turquoise, buttercup yellow, violet, white and black. Wide strong shirred elastic wasitband is comfy and allows for increase in size of waist when stretched. Labels are intact within the skirt and the Hilo Hattie label made in Hawaii is lovely. The skirt is 100% quality cotton and I would guess it to be late 1960s or early 1970s. It has all the look of the 1950s but I cannot be certain it goes back to the fifties. HILO HATTIE MADE MANY SPECIAL DRESSES, SHIRTS AND WRAP SKIRTS--but you will rarely see one of her circle skirts anywhere on the WEB. It really is an amazing beauty. Waist unstretched is 28 inches; stretched it goes to 34/36 inches. LENGTH is 32 inches. CONDITION is wonderful and it's been kept smoke-free and odor-free. WHAT A FIND!
