Possibly a vintage vest, but I do not know for sure. I do know it is extremely charming and any girl would love to wear this over dresses or over a top with some sexy jeans. If you like layered looks, this would make a fantastic item for layering. There are no buttons for closure, as it is just to be worn loosely open over another article of clothing. The front is all floral white eyelet with satin embroidered details throughout the front. The edges of opening have a crocheted or tatted working which adds even more charm. The back is solid white cotton with ties. There are no labels within, but this appears to be all cotton and will fit various sizes due to the loose style. It will look best on sizes up through 14. CONDITION is very good to exxcellent. It's clean and the the fabric is smoke-free and odor-free
