This skirt is so much more lovely than the pictures can show and the color is also Magenta so there's more violet/purple tone than show here where it looks more like a hot pink...so go by description of Magenta or Burgandy for the best color description. The skirt FABRIC is 100% silk and I believe it is what is called "brushed silk". The skirt still has its tags and still has the price tag ($80.00) from THE LIMITED store which was a chain of stores in the malls and I don't believe The Limited has been in business for some time. I could be wrong, but that's been my impression. I date this skirt to the mid 80s. It's a long skirt (34 inches) and buttons all the way down the front. The waist measures 30 inches and the hips are flexible due to the style. The label says a stated SIZE 14. It has been made with quality and it's really lovely. With the tags that are still present are some extra buttons in a plastic sealed pouch with the tag. The CARE label says this silk can be hand washed in cold water and tumbled dry on low. There is a lot of lovely soft fabric in this full skirt. There are belt loops but the white belt and the white blouse are not sold with this skirt--it is only the skirt for this price, but I will soon be separately adding the white blouse which is just lovely and on another label.
