You won't find very many of these 1950s/1960s slips with the deeper eyelash lace at the scalloped hemline. In fact, these all lace "overlay" slips in exquisite all lace that is totally backed by silky TRICOT ALL NYLON rarely come along. The COLOR is a vibrant red-orange. At this particular time in history, much attention was paid to the details of lingerie. For instance, this slip has discrete darts from the waistline, giving it a more tailored or finished look. The choice of laces were exquisite, and this is surely some of the prettiest lace I have seen. The SIZE is a stated Medium with a waist unstretched of 22 inches and stretches to 31 to 32 inches. The LENGTH is 24 to 25 inches. FABRIC is a stated "Tricot All Nylon" made in USA. The old double loop label is in the side seam and is partially pulling away from the seam. CONDITION is very good previously loved. Do not expect new or perfect, as this is vintage and is about 50 years old, but it is lovely and I don't believe you will be disappointed. Any minor wear is more than offset by the rarity and the beauty of the slip, which was obviously a high-end item in its day. If you do not agree, I'll refund.
