What a pretty half slip this is from the fifties. It is made of double layer nylon, with the outer layer being nylon chiffon sheer and the under layer being blue opaque nylon. The elastic waistband has the well known pillow tab on it. There is no company label within, but there is a size label, which is a stated Small. The waist unstretched is 19 inches and stretches tightly to 30 inches. The hip area flares out to about 36 inches all around. The length is 25 1/2 inches. The color blue is very pretty and is a somewhat deeper shade than the pictures show. As you can see, there is a wide lace insert in the middle of the slip and this lacy insert measures 6 inches deep. Adding to the charm are 2 long wide streamer ribbons attached by a lace floral applique. CONDITION ~ Very Good. This is vintage and probably about 50 years old so don't expect it to be new or without some issues, but I don't find any of the little issues to detract from the overal beauty and presentation of this slip.
