This is a marvelous vintage all lace peignoir of 100% Nylon Lace and I believe 1960s/1970s timeline. There are two double-loop cloth labels within, one on top the other in an inside seam and since the FREDERICK'S OF HOLLYWOOD label is the top one, I am assuming that the GLYDON'S label (in blue script) directly underneath it indicates that Glydons lingerie company made this exquisite garment for Frederick's of Hollywood. The LENGTH is 58 1/2 inches, so will fit a tall lady. The SIZE is a stated MED and I would say up through size 36 bustlines for best look if you close the peignoir with a ribbon or sash, but if left open and worn as shown here with a slip or a gown, then you could go up some in sizing. I found this lovely piece without a sash belt, but the company has provided a side seam opening on both sides of peignoir should you wish to thread a ribbon or sash through it. I personally love the open look here, but either way it will be very glamorous and it is a quick remedy to add a beautiful ribbon or a sash/belt. I love this vintage lingerie fashion for not only the abundantly beautiful lace but also for the alluring drama of the bell/angel sleeves...also giving it a Victorian touch. CONDITION: Excellent with clean fabric that is smoke free and odor-free....all pluses when buying vintage.
