Long vintage peignoir sets by ROGERS are very hard to find, especially from the 1950s, as this one is. Also, you will not find many as truly Cinderella glamorous as this one. It is fit for a goddess and is in that style. My pictures simply cannot do it justice insorfar as the volumes of double layers of nylon chiffon (NYLON TRICOT fabric. Also, the blues are prettier than shown--a bit deeper in the darker areas of blue and this unique mixture of the panels of lighter and darker blues gives almost an illusionary effect and certainly a heavenly one! You'll love the goddess style bodice with its shirring and V-cut, along with the sexy spaghetti straps of the gown. The midriff is a fitted inserted one as done especially from the 30s through the 50s. The insert has shimmery sparkle of silver threads among the blue embossed pattern set against the sheer nylon and is designed to match the collar area of the matching peignoir. This is truly fit for a movie star. The SIZE is a stated Medium peignoir 36 gown. Both the gown and the peignoir have the vintage double loop small cloth labels in the side seams. I love to feature USA made vintage lingerie--as there is nothing like the quality and style that was put in to these wonderful pieces of lingerie. LENGTH is 56 inches.
