Surround yourself in 4 layers of ALL NYLON chiffon in this vintage WALTZ LENGTH peignoir set--gown & robe combination. The gown has 2 layers of nylon as does the robe of this set. Neckline, sleeve ends, armholes and hemline are edged in satin trim. The neckline satin trim is scalloped and has white satin strawberry shapped appliques with green satin embroidered stems. This is really exquisite and needs to be seen and felt to appreciate the exceptional vintage details and quality. The hemline has the same satin appliques on the gown. Satin ties close the neckline of the peignor. Down either side of the opening of the peignoir, there is petite satin scalloped embroidery pattern which looks very expensive on this set. The COLOR is wedding white and this is prettier than the pictures can show. SIZE is a stated small and will fit today's sizes of 6, 8 & 10 with busts ranging from 34 through 36. The style is a floater style, so there is flexible waist and hip areas. The sleeves are a billowy enchanting style with satin edging and gathering at the ends in a ballooning effect. The fabric is ALL NYLON and it's clean, smoke-free and odor-free (pluses when buying vintage clothing). CONDITION is excellent. It looks barely worn. All vintage labels are intact in the gown and the peignoir. I have carefully inspected and the only thing I see to mention is that on the under layer of the gown near the back neckline are two tiny holes. They tend to get lost in the volumes of fabric and otherwise this set is just exceptional. If you don't agree, you know that I will refund. This is pretty enough for any princess in your life.
