This lovely sleep gown actually was made to look like a slip but with more flare to the skirt portion and the shoulder straps are a sheer wide nylon. This has so much charm and is circa 1950s. Vintage items are previously worn and loved unless I stated that they appear not to have been worn or that they have tags. This lingerie item has had gentle wear and has held up very well over about 50 years. There are no issues that affect wearability or presentation, but I mention them to be thorough. In the bodice lace near the V in front, there is a tiny area of the lace that has a slight gape in the lace. This is completely fixable without much effort, but it could also just be left as is, because there are so many lovely features to notice and you won't be paying attention to these small things. And, there are two tiny picks in the nylon skirt part of gown near the bottom. Again, you aren't going to be paying attention to these but I have priced the gown in accordance with these slight issues. Since the style is not as often found, the price is small to pay to add an interesting vintage Vanity Fair item to your collection. The sweep is lovely on this mid-length gown, measuring 96 inches. It will make for feminine flattery on your figure if you are a size 32 bust with a small figure (label stated size 32). The vintage double loop cloth label is within the garment. Vanity Fair made some of the most lovely and unique of lingerie items. The gown is super clean and smoke-free and odor-free.
