Color is closest to above picture but it is difficult to capture exact hue of the white which is not a true white
MANUFACTURER/DESIGNER ~ on the ROGERS Label circa 1950s. I remember seeing very similar gowns in magazines like SEVENTEEN in the 1950s. You can dance around the bedroom in this very girlie gown with bustline shirring charm and appliques x3 positioned as shown and one not visible due to bein lost in the folds of fabric. The appliques look like berries with tuffted raised effect for the seeds...very cute. The front panel is double nylon and swings to one side which just adds to the beauty. The midriff is an "inserted" style which was very popular in the 40s/50s and made that are more fitted and slimming. The shoulder straps are very pretty and give the illusion of 3 spaghetti straps but in actuality is one strap with rolled opaque nylon strips alternating with clear nylon. You'll love all the details of this gown--details that you only found in the vintage gowns and rarely in today's gowns.

CONDITION
is very good. The interior vintage label is just hanging by a thread so you might wish to either tack it back in place by just taking a couple of stitches and moments of your time--or you could snip it out. We do not alter any of the fashions we find and leave that to the buyer. The item is clean, smoke-free and odor-free
