This Teen magazine has the cute Sandra Dee on the cover and an interior 4-page pictorial article including a pic of her with Troy Donahue from the ever-remembered and loved movie "A Summer Place". Just a few other things of interest within are: Annette Funicello's crazy calendar, how to set some hairstyles, Hollywood gossip with 4 pages of pictures and info, pictorial article on Jimmy Clanton, summer fashions; "The Top Teen Show" starring Roberta shore, The Steiner Brothers, Pat Molittieri, Tommy Cole, Bobby Burgess, the Addrisi Brothers, and Bo Wagner and his Band. The pics of Pat Molittieri of American Bandstand fame are small, but there's also her page called "Pat's Party Line" within the magazine and I have seen some rare old fan club materials that pretty much say just what she talks about on that page regarding a trip she made back from Hollywood to her home in Philly that summer of 1960. A popular feature called "Their Favorite Fads & Fancies" is also inside and has stars such as Jimmy Rodgers, George Peppard, Tommy Sands, Conway Twitty, Bobby Rydell and others. Other things to enjoy are the short stories, cartoons, and advice articles. Teenagers of the 1960s loved their Teen Magazine issues and you will enjoy them as well. For those who lived it, what a wonderful trip down memory lane and for those who would lke to learn more about that time and how teens lived, this will really give you a good piture.
