This January 1958 issue of TEEN Magazine does not have any American Bandstand materials, but it has plenty of Hollywood celebrity materials and many articles of interest to teens in the 50s. For instance, there's a 2-page pictorial article on the 1950 Ford ragtop automibile which underwent "10 major body alterations" and its custom look is properly titled "way out". Not only is Pat Boone pictured on the cover, but there's a 4-page pictorial article on him within. Some other things of interest: "No Jukeboxes in Jail" which is a true story about teens in jail; "Teen All-American" which shows high school football players in a 6-page pictorial with teams (Teen All-American, lst team All-East, lst Team All-West, All Southwest, All Midwest Team A and All Midwest Team B), a 4-page Sandra Dee pictorial article, Rock 'N Roll is Here to Stay" which shows many of the performers like Elvis, Sal Mineo, Gale Storm, Ricky Nelson, Tab Hunter, 4 pages of fashions for guys, pictorial on teens nationwide, and then there's the pictures and Hollywood gossip, and an article on Tony Perkins. There's more things inside, but you get the idea. CONDITION: Is in very good condition but there is some handling wear. Pages 33 thru 36 have come loose from the spinal fold but are neatly placed in the proper section of the magazine. They are connected by the fold in the middle but loose from the spine. Interior pages are clean and flat and they number 66. The back cover has some smudging and there's a little dirt on the front cover. I am just mentioning what I can to be thorough.
