This is one of the oversize fifties Sunday news magazines, which are hard to find in the big size approximately 15 x 11 inches. Many of these vintage thin Sunday newspaper magazines were tossed out with the rest of the Sunday paper and those which have managed to survive have often been worse for the wear. However, this magazine is intact and in quite good condition considering it is over 50 years old. There is edge wear of the right margin of some the interior pages but this is not unusual in these very fragile old thin magazines. The interior pages are clean and flat. The cover features a lovely picture of actress Greer Garson with a small bio and picture within the issue. This is an interesting collectible and the magazine would be good for framing if you wish to display that way. There are 19 numbered pages and inside you will find special features, fashion, food, human interest, entertainment, crossword puzzle, sports, gossip, etc. You'll also find two old city street views of New York City. There are lots of old ads as well. A color pin-up type picture of Sally Choate as The Typical American Girl is within this issue and I was specially interested in a full page pictorial article on Paul Anka with a color pic of him and a small B&W of his family. In keeping with the rock and roll era of the 50s, there's a B&W pictorial "Rock'n'roll Forever about teens in Australia. For those who watched "What's My Line TV show like I did, you'll enjoy the B&W picture of Arlene Francis, Bennett Cerf, Dorothy Kilgallen and John Daly. It's a real nice trip down memory lane 1958.
