This is one of the oversize forties New York News Sunday Coloroto magazines, which are hard to find in the big size approximately 15 x 11 inches. It is especially rare to ever see this issue with glamorously sexy AVA GARDNER on the cover. Many of these vintage thin Sunday newspaper magazines were tossed out with the rest of the Sunday paper and those which have managed to survive have often been worse for the wear because they were oversize and thin and didn't handle well. This magazine is intact and in very good condition considering it is nearly 61 years old. There are 16 numbered pages (including the covers), so this is one of the more thin issues. It s from my Personal Collection of these old COLOROTO SUNDAY NEWS (New York's Picture Newspaper). It is priced accordingly because of its rarity and the fact that it is from my collection which I have gathered over many years. I would not part with it for less.
