STYLE: Gorgeous evening blouse with glitter galore and attached uniquely to panties with snap crotch in a bodysuit style. Great for weaing with close-fitting pants or skirt so that the areas stay smooth and flat below the waist--none of that tucking in of a blouse and seeing the clumps. This is great engineering in fashion and Oleg Cassini not only makes it beautiful but soooo wearable.
DETAILS: Sheer white nylon fabric overwhich there is an explosion of sparkle and glitterazzi in the form multi/multi/multi sequins and beads in a windowpane pattern. It is much more glorious when you see it and touch it! My pictures could not capture the total essense of the Hollywood nights look. The front opens down to the waist and the teensy snap closures are so artuflly done and hidden that they blend right in with the sequins. WOW, another fantastic seamstress detail. There are shoulder pads that you could snip out if you want, but they add classy dimension--remember the 1940s glamour girls often wore shoulder pads. The sleeves are long and close at end with the same wonderful teensy hidden snaps. The blouse can snap closed at the top just like a shirt or leave open for a bit--whichever you prefer (both versions pictured).
FABRIC: Blouse/shell is 87% Nylon and the attached panty is 13% Lycra Spandex..remember there's a hidden snap crotch opening for easy entrance into the garment. The snap crotch has double rows of hidden tiny snaps so that you can adjust even that area to a better fit.
SIZE: label-stated M (medium). This will look best on today's sizes 8 or 10 which equates to bust sizes of 35/36, waist 27/28, and hips 37/38. This fashion garment could go up or down a size, but I always like to give the best fit. Sleeves are 26 inches from shoulder seam to end of sleeve, so nice & long.
CONDITION: Excellent condition--don't think it's ever had anything but possible dressing room wear. It's pristine clean and glorious in presentation. It's smoke-free and odor-free.
This is truly for the holiday sophisticate but can be worn throughout the year for those glam evenings when you want to radiate.
