DESIGNER/BRAND: JMD of New York label in this beautiful silk evening jacket with polyester lining. This makes me think of the type of evening wrap that Bette Davis would have worn in NOW VOYAGER. She was so elegant in that movie. The silk is sheer with stunning black beadwork over all areas of the jacket--front and back and sleeves. The neckline and openings and hemline and sleeve ends have special rows of petite beading as well to set off an already classy fashion in a rich chocolate brown color with black beads which I describe as yummy Chocolate Coke. SIZE:a label stated PM (Petite Medium) which equates to today's sizes 8 or 10 and with bust of 36. Length of jacket is about 24 inches and sleeves are 23 1/2 inches, measured from shoulder seam. CONDITION:Previously loved with very little wear at all. There are a few teensy beads missing at one of the sleeve ends and you won't even notice this---I didn't until I had review it several times. The fabric is clean and odor free and this makes a lovely presentation when worn with a long evening gown. The closure is at neckline only with one single hook/eye, so it is meant to be open to show your pretty gown below.
