When I found these pictures of American Bandstand Regular Billy Cook with his date Agnes Pooler, I immediately wanted to know more about her. Was she a Regular on American Bandstand?--couldn't find any record. Then my memory clicked in. I remembered her name in one of the wonderful fan club letters that Jane Smith did and that are on my website thanks to Don Gillis having preserved them all these years. Here's the little paragraph wherein she is mentioned: "During the evening Justine Carrelli and her boyfriend, Bonnie Harden, Peggy Leonard, Billy Cook, Agnes Pooler, Frank Brancaccio and Frankie Levins came over to celebrate Pat's homecoming." I have had special pages for the Fan Club Letters on my website for a long time and in them I have woven in the pictures that went to that time and place being spoken of.
